Furniture Design
Your Product design proposal should include furniture that is context responsive and easy to use.
The idea is todesign seating made entirely out of bamboo.
They should be flexible in their layout and can be modular or repetitive.
They can be individual seating, dual seating, for a group and community or a combination of all.
Each team needs to consider the overall demographic (all age groups mentioned in the Product Design Category, page 10, above) of the visitors and design minimum 4 typesof seating’s.
One can also design in such a way that the seating also caters to other activities than sitting when it’s not in use.
The location of seating’s and the planning strategy behind their placements and their connectivity should be clear.
Other supporting furniture (if any) can be designed along with it to create a holistic approach to the proposal.
Please Note: As the Organisers aim at Implementing the winning ideas, the ideas are expected to be more practical (convenient to execute live on site) considering all technical aspects, than being Utopian.
